About The Emerald Party Bus

The Emerald is the newest bus in our mini lineup — a 15-passenger party bus wrapped in VIP emerald chrome, with an emerald-and-black interior, a custom flower wall, and a neon glow that makes every group photo look like a music video. Smallest footprint in the fleet, some of the biggest personality.

Inside it’s all newest-line party tech: a premium Kicker sound system with Bluetooth, music-activated lights, two spinning dance poles, light-up cup holders, and a light-up bar and cooler area over hardwood floors. Fifteen seats is the sweet spot for brewery tours, birthdays, bachelorette parties, and nights out where the whole crew fits in one conversation.

Like every Rent My Party Bus ride, the Emerald comes with a licensed CDL chauffeur, full insurance and DOT inspection, and pickup anywhere in the Twin Cities metro. Compare all the mini party buses, see every bus and current rates — or if your list outgrows 15, the Unicorn seats 25.

This Season on The Emerald Party Bus

The Emerald stays busy through late summer with brewery tours and State Fair shuttle runs (Aug 27–Sept 7), then rolls into fall concert season. If your crew has a September show on the calendar, lock the date now.

Emerald Party Bus Reviews

JD

My group had a great time on the party bus! The bus was clean and set up well for us. The driver, Alex, was fun but also a professional. Very clear communication about rules and expectations, which I appreciate since having a bus full of tipsy bachelorettes can get out of hand easily. I would definitely use Rent My Party Bus again.

Booking our bus was a breeze. Loved our "Emerald" mini-bus for a bachelorette party! The inside of the bus was decorated nicely. The speakers were good quality. Our driver Mitch reached out before our event to make sure our questions were answered. He was professional, drove safe, had some fun banter with our group, and was on-time picking us up and dropping us off. We hopped off to go to a bar and he sent us a text to remind us to get back on the bus to get us home on time. We would book again!

Emerald Party Bus FAQ

What does the flower wall on the Emerald say?

The Emerald’s pink flower wall has a neon sign that says “Let’s Party” — it sits at the back of the bus and doubles as the group photo backdrop.

How many people fit on the Emerald party bus?

The Emerald seats up to 15 riders — it’s a mini-class bus from our newest line. If your list keeps growing, step up to a 25-seat medium like the Unicorn, or a 35–40 seat full-size bus.

How much does it cost to rent the Emerald?

Rates vary by day and season — Sunday–Thursday runs are the best value, and current pricing for every bus is on our rates page. Every quote is all-in: rate, fuel charge, and driver gratuity included, so the price we give you is the price you pay.

Can we bring our own drinks on board?

Yes — everyone drinking must be 21 or older, and you bring your own. The Emerald’s light-up bar and cooler area was built for exactly this.

What events is the Emerald best for?

Fifteen-person crews: brewery tours, birthday nights, bachelorette and bachelor parties, concerts, and just-because Saturday cruises. The flower wall and neon sign make it a photo favorite for milestone birthdays.

How far in advance should we book the Emerald?

Spring through fall Saturdays book out two to six weeks ahead — and as one of only five minis in the fleet, the Emerald goes fast. We can often fit last-minute trips: call or text 612-226-1188 and we’ll tell you straight what’s open.

Can we play our own music?

Yes, you can connect via Bluetooth and be the DJ.

Is there a deposit to reserve the bus?

Yes, your reservation is secured with a deposit. The remaining balance is typically due before your trip (we’ll confirm timing during booking).

What’s included in the rental?

A professional driver, the bus, and all onboard features (sound system, lighting, photo spots, etc.). You’ll also get a clear itinerary plan before pickup.

Where can you pick us up and drop us off?

We can pick up/drop off anywhere in the Twin Cities (and beyond).

Can we make multiple stops?

Yes, you can make as many stops as you like as long as it’s within your time frame.

How long should we book the Emerald Party Bus for?

Most groups book 3–5 hours for dinner + bars, or 6+ hours for a full night out.

What if we run late at pickup?

We recommend having your group ready early. Late starts may reduce drive time and stops, depending on the schedule

Can we add overtime during the trip?

Usually yes if the bus is available.

How much should we tip the driver?

A 20% driver gratuity is required on all rentals and is added at booking — your quoted total already covers it, so there’s nothing to figure out on the night. If your driver goes above and beyond, extra cash tips are appreciated but never expected.

Can we decorate the bus?

Light, removable decorations are usually fine (think balloons, banners, table décor). No confetti, glitter, silly string, or anything permanent.

Do you allow food on the bus?

Small snacks are usually okay. If you want to bring a full meal/catering, ask us first so we can plan for cleanup.

Is there a cleaning fee?

A standard cleaning policy applies. Excessive mess may result in an additional cleaning charge—keep it simple and you’re good.

What is your cancellation policy?

Cancellation terms depend on how close you are to the reservation date. The cancellation policy is listed in our Terms & Conditions.

Does the Emerald Party Bus run in winter?

Yes — the Emerald runs year-round and is fully heated, so it stays warm through a Minnesota January. Winter dates are popular for holiday light tours and birthdays, and if a snowstorm ever makes travel unsafe, we’ll work with you to reschedule.
