Party Bus Rental Around Lake Minnetonka
Lord Fletcher’s, Excelsior, Wayzata — all the way around the lake. 18 buses, 15–40 passengers, up-front pricing.
Lake Minnetonka isn’t one town — it’s a dozen of them wrapped around 14,000 acres of water, and the good stuff is spread all the way around the shoreline. Which is exactly the problem. Lord Fletcher’s is in Spring Park, the bars are in Excelsior and Wayzata, your friend’s place is in Deephaven, and every one of those drives is one you shouldn’t be making after a day on the lake.
That’s what we’re for. Rent My Party Bus has run the Twin Cities since 2008. We’re based in St Paul — a straight shot out 394, and yes, a real drive; we’d rather say so than pretend otherwise. We run 18 buses, 15 to 40 passengers, all with Kicker sound, Bluetooth, LED lighting and hardwood floors, and a chauffeur whose only job is that nobody in your group drives.
Where We Go Around the Lake
All the way around it. The stops we run most:
- Lord Fletcher’s Old Lake Lodge, Spring Park — the institution. 3746 Sunset Dr, on Coffee Cove.
- Downtown Excelsior — Maynards, Excelsior Brewing, the Commons. The best walkable block on the lake.
- Downtown Wayzata — COV, Red Cow, Baja Haus, and the lakewalk
- Mound, Orono, Tonka Bay, Deephaven, Shorewood and Minnetonka Beach — residential pickups, right to the door
- Marinas and private docks — we’ll meet the boat
- Wayzata Bay and the Big Island crowd — get everyone home in one piece
And we run off the lake too: downtown Minneapolis, St Paul, Chanhassen, Victoria, and out to the Wisconsin border.
What Lake Minnetonka Groups Book Us For
- Lake day to Lord Fletcher’s and back — the single most common booking out here. Nobody drives home from the lake.
- Excelsior and Wayzata bar crawls — two great downtowns, 20 minutes apart, and no way to do both without a driver
- Weddings — lakeside venues are gorgeous and a logistical nightmare. Parking is tight and guests scatter across the shoreline. One bus solves most of it.
- Bachelor & bachelorette parties — the lake in summer is the whole weekend; we handle the ground half
- Boat-to-bar nights — you dock, we’re there, everyone’s fine
- Birthdays and anniversaries — any size group
- Downtown Minneapolis runs — concerts, games, dinners, then back to the lake
- Winter — the lake doesn’t close. Neither do we.

Lake Minnetonka Party Bus Rates

Every rental has a $50 fuel surcharge and a required 20% driver gratuity. Nothing else. No mileage charge for going around the lake, no fuel surprise at the end of the night.
