Homecoming Party Bus: Minneapolis & St Paul

Homecoming group celebrating aboard a Rent My Party Bus limo bus

Homecoming is the first big night of the school year, and it is almost never just the dance. There is the game, dinner somewhere nice, a stop for group photos while there is still daylight, the dance itself, and then wherever everyone goes after. A party bus carries the group through all of it with a licensed chauffeur at the wheel, so no sophomore is driving six friends across the metro at 11 p.m., and no parent spends the night running a shuttle service between stops.

Parents get the part that matters most: one adult books the bus, everyone rides together, and the bus stays with the group from the first pickup to the last drop-off. We have been running Twin Cities homecoming nights since 2008.

Why Rent My Party Bus

CDL Professional Drivers

Every driver holds a commercial CDL license and knows every venue in the Twin Cities. They handle the road. You handle the dance floor.

Insured & DOT-Inspected

All 20+ party buses are fully insured, DOT-registered, and DOT-inspected, maintained by our own full-time repair shop, the only one of its kind among Twin Cities party bus companies.

Up-Front Pricing

The price we quote is the price you pay. Every bus’s rates are posted right on our site, no surprise fees.

Open 24/7, For Real

Planning at 1am? So are we. Our office and our mechanics are on duty nights and weekends, whenever the buses are rolling. Call or text 612-226-1188 anytime.

We only hire the BEST drivers

Unlike other Party Bus companies, we have a very strict selection process for our drivers. They must have many years of commercial experience, a good knowledge of the Twin Cities roads and highways, must be timely, and have a friendly personality. We also have the highest driver retention. Most of our drivers have been with us for years, and a number of them since we originally opened in 2008.

The Biggest Party Bus Fleet In The Twin Cities

We are the largest Party Bus company in Minnesota with 20+ party buses in service and more buses on the way! We got this big with hard work and dedication to our company and our customers.

Clean buses are a MUST

Cleanliness is something we take very seriously. We have professional cleaners that not only clean but also sanitize our buses after every trip. We guarantee that your bus will be clean so your group can arrive in style. No matter which bus you choose or how much you pay, we promise you will receive our highest level of service.

On-Call Mechanics

We're the only Twin Cities party bus company with full-time mechanics and office staff who also work weekends and weekend nights. If an issue ever comes up, we tackle it on the spot and get the party back on the road.

GPS tracking

We have GPS tracking on every bus.

No hidden fees!

We’re the only company that has our Party Bus Prices listed online and up-front. This helps minimize any possible confusion and makes sure everyone in your group knows their share of the bus rental.

PARTY BUS OPTIONS

Homecoming Saturdays land in a tight window. Most Twin Cities schools hold theirs between mid-September and mid-October, and several districts share the same weekend. Those dates go first. The rates below are our dance-date rates, and they are the same for every school dance we run.

HOMECOMING PARTY BUS RULES

We want the group to have the best experience possible! These are some rules we want the groups and parents to follow to make sure everything goes smoothly.

Reservation

We require that a parent or legal guardian makes the reservation online. We will not accept a reservation from a student, an older sibling, or friend. We will make follow up phone calls with the parents to make sure all the information is accurate.

Alcohol

We will not allow any alcohol on board and we will actively monitor the students.

On Pick Up

A parent must be available on pick up. We ask that they help the students get ready.

During The Trip

A parent or parents must be available on call if needed.

Refreshments

We allow refreshments such as water, pop, Gatorade, etc, but the parent will have to be responsible for it. Parents will need to load the bus with any refreshments for the students. All bottles, cans, etc, must be unopened. Students will not be allowed to bring any refreshments on or off the bus.

On Drop Off

A parent should be present on drop off to help the students unload.

How A Homecoming Night Usually Runs

  1. Late afternoon, first pickup. We start at whichever house the group picks and collect everyone from there.
  2. Photos while there is light. Fall daylight is short by late September, so most homecoming groups shoot before dinner rather than after.
  3. Dinner. The bus waits at the restaurant. Nobody moves a car and nobody eats in shifts because of parking.
  4. The dance. We drop at the door and come back when you tell us to.
  5. After. One more stop or straight home. You set it when you book.

Homecoming Season

Homecoming in the Twin Cities runs from the second weekend of September through the middle of October, with the heaviest nights in late September. Because so many metro schools share a weekend, the mid-size buses go first, a group of twenty that waits until the week of the dance is usually choosing between a mini and a full size rather than the bus they actually wanted. Book as soon as your school posts the date.

Homecoming Party Bus FAQs

No. Zero alcohol is allowed on school-dance rentals, and our drivers actively monitor the bus all night.

Parents book the rental and set the itinerary, so you always know where the bus is going and when. Call or text 612-226-1188 with anything specific.

Our buses seat 15 to 40, so one bus can carry the whole group. Most groups pick a full-size 35-seater.

September–October Saturdays fill quickly. Book 3–4 weeks ahead.

Yes. Homecoming night is usually several stops: the game, dinner, a photo spot, the dance, and wherever everyone goes after. You set the itinerary when you book and the bus stays with the group through all of it.

It does for availability. Late September is the busiest stretch of the fall because so many Twin Cities districts share a weekend, and the 20 to 25 seat buses go first. It makes no difference to your night once the bus is booked. It only decides which buses are still free when you call.

Yes. Decorations are welcome. The one rule is nothing that gets ground into the floor or upholstery, so no glitter, confetti, silly string or paint.

The party bus was a huge hit with ourProm group! The driver was fantastic, and everyone had an amazing time. We’ll definitely be looking to reserve the bus again next year.

I recently rented a party bus through (Rent My Party Bus) and had a great experience with the staff and driver! They took care of my party, came on time, and had everything cleaned and ready for my event. I really enjoyed our driver although I’m unfortunately unable to remember his name. I would totally recommend this for anyone looking to spice up a party or event (wedding, graduation, prom). I rented one of smaller options available but even that was spacious enough for my party of 10! Highly recommend!
